![]() So, their solution is to get us on another cruise within 7 days, but we are back at home now. I would have never booked this cruise otherwise. Unfortunately, they do not offer refunds (and yes I understand it is wildlife and it can be unpredictable) however, don't say it is guaranteed that you'll see dolphins just call it an ocean cruise (may see dolphins). I called Vacations Made Easy to obtain a refund, which I'm sure the lady at VME told me would be possible because it was guaranteed. ![]() How annoying! Most cruises have a tip bucket when you get off, so this seemed like social harassment. The crew worked us for tips at the end.like they did something for us. It was uncomfortable because we were right on top of each other. Others had to sit inside and couldn't have even seen a dolphin if one had been spotted. They overbooked on this tour and some people did not even have seats. Key word is looked.no sightings of any dolphins, yet I made reservations through Vacations Made Easy that indicated it was a "Guaranteed Dolphin Sighting" so I was excited. We only looked for dolphins for about 30 minutes maybe. It took us 1 hour to get to the ocean and then another 1 hour back. Let me just say this.spend your money on another cruise if you want to see dolphins otherwise, you will have wasted 2.5 hours + on an ocean voyage. The guarantee was why I purchased the tickets almost without hesitation however, unfortunately, now I wish I would have booked with another marina. To anyone who reads my review I hope you have a nice vacation & better luck.ĭeceptive advertisement lured me to book a "guaranteed" dolphin sighting cruise, but we saw no dolphins! I was informed when I picked up the tickets at Vacations Made Easy that I could expect a full refund if the cruise had to be cancelled because of weather or if we did not see dolphins. Finally I wouldn't give this company any stars, but I had to at least give one star to leave my review. ![]() My advice is to not purchase tickets through this company. After calling them today 2/24/22 & speaking with Stephanie a supervisor there we still did not settle the matter or get a refund of any kind toward the $195.80 that we paid for tickets. I might add that this dispute has been going on now for 7 months due to Vacations Made Easy not responding in a prompt manner. I then told Vacations Made Easy I was going to contact my bank to dispute the charge which I did back in July 2021. My wife then looked up the company online & found out that there were numerous complaints from other customers who had purchased tickets & even went to the event only to find out that it had been cancelled. I immediately told them that there was a mistake & that there was no possibility of us being able to go, but they said they would only provide a partial refund. My daughter then booked the tickets, but when we went to get the tickets the day before on Wednesday 7/28/21 we found out that Vacations Made Easy had booked the tickets for Friday 7/30/21 the day we were supposed to return home. After thinking about other things that we might do while there I agreed to us going if we were able to go on Thursday 7/29/21 as we were flying back home to Houston early Friday morning 7/30/21. While there my daughter had found an advertisement that read go to see the dolphins & asked me if it would be alright to purchase tickets to the attraction for our family. ![]() □□□ original sound - Sam.What a Rip Off! My family & I had traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for a long overdue vacation. The crew was awesome & very sweet to the kids. This has always been a dream of mine to see dolphins not in captivity… honesly, one of the best days of my life. The best activity by far was the dolphin tour!! Anyone who knows me in real life knows how OBSESSED I was with them as a child- the dolphin bedspread, glass figures, stuffed animals, & all the books you could imagine. ♥️ #myrtlebeach #myrtlebeachtiktokģ5 Likes, TikTok video from Sam "We went to Myrtle Beach for spring break on a whim & did all the touristie things.
